TDmonthly Sponsored Product Video: How It Works

A Sponsored Product Video is a short video about one of your products, built by our team from your own footage and photos. It's posted on our YouTube Shorts channel and Instagram Reels, and a square version goes on your ToyShow card on ToyDirectory.com.

It's clearly labeled Sponsored from the first frame to the last. It describes your product: what it does, how it's played, what's in the box. It isn't a review, so there are no verdicts, ratings or pros and cons.

What you get for $195

  • One 30 to 60 second video about one product or product line.
  • A vertical post (9:16) on our YouTube Shorts channel and our Instagram Reels.
  • A square cut (1:1) for your ToyShow card on ToyDirectory.com.
  • The MP4 files of both versions for your own use. The Sponsored tag stays on them.
  • One revision of copy and cut before posting.
  • The live links (YouTube, Instagram and ToyShow), emailed to you once it's up.

No guaranteed views, placement or algorithm results. If we ever share numbers, they come straight from YouTube or Instagram, with the date. We never estimate them.

How it works

  1. Pay $195 with the PayPal button below.
  2. Email us your materials at [email protected] with your PayPal transaction ID (list below).
  3. Review the draft. We send it within 48 hours of receiving your materials. You get one revision of copy and cut.
  4. Go live. Your video is posted within 5 business days of receiving your materials, sooner if your approval comes back fast. Nothing is posted until you approve it.

What to send us

  1. Footage or photos from your own website or press kit (a media link is fine). We don't use retailer, influencer or reviewer footage.
  2. Product names exactly as sold.
  3. The age grade exactly as printed on the package or your website.
  4. The MSRP and where to buy (your store and/or retailers).
  5. Any claims you want included, each with a source. We check each one or leave it out.
  6. Your Instagram handle, so we can tag you as a paid partner where Instagram allows it.
  7. Whether you sent us samples.
  8. One contact (name and email) to approve the video.

How it's labeled

  • A "Sponsored" tag on screen the whole time.
  • The caption opens with "Sponsored by" and your brand name, plus #ad.
  • YouTube's paid promotion setting is turned on, and Instagram's paid partnership label is used where available.
  • If we use an AI voiceover, it's labeled on both platforms.

Our rules

  • Every video includes a short "Good to know" moment with plain facts: the age grade as printed, any required safety warning and battery needs.
  • No made-up stats, sales numbers, star ratings or review quotes.
  • No "best", "#1", "educational" or "safe" claims unless your own page says so, and then we credit them to you.
  • Original sound or licensed sound effects only. No AI-generated products or kids.
