Columbian Peace Plow
MSRP: $40.00Age: 18 and Up
In 1893, under the auspices of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a committee was appointed. Out of this committee a decision was made to create a PEACE PLOW from historical relics collected. The committee began to search for a plow-maker. Deere & Company jumped at the opportunity. Twenty-two thousand metal relics were represented in the original plow along with over two hundred historical pieces of wood, each one with an interesting history. This fabulous re-creation of such an important historical piece is a perfect addition to any collection. Each fine pewter plow comes with a collectors booklet describing the plow in great detail.
This beautiful pewter replica of the original Columbian Peace Plow was painstakingly hand crafted using original documents obtained from the Deere & Company Archives and carefully placed in a specially fitted die-cut foam to ensure its safe arrival to your collection. Each measures approximately 9"L x 2.2"W x 3.7"H. Each important collectors booklet has been carefully reproduced and available on fine parchment style paper. Limited Edition production run of only 2,500 units.

About LONE TREE CREEK LLC
Lone Tree Creek was formed officially in 1998. Lone Tree Creek is located in south eastern South Dakota along the banks of the Lone Tree Creek that slowly winds through a small portion of the state. Lone Tree Creek is part of an active and working farm in southeastern South Dakota. A company with the goal of producing a premier line of agriculture collectibles.
Owner Lee Friesen has been in the antique farm toy and agricultural memorabilia business since the late 1970's. During that span, he has developed an interest in obtaining fine re-creations of original farm machinery in miniature. He has also acquired a taste for the unique items...those items that not every other collector has. This taste for the unique has been the primary fuel behind Lone Tree Creek.
Rest assured if you purchase a limited edition model from Lone Tree Creek, it is just that...LIMITED. Each Limited Edition model that is produced by Lone Tree Creek is identified by a maximum number to be produced. For NO reason will this number be increased-however it can be decreased based upon orders. Limited also means less Limited: than 1,000 units--probably under 500--good chance that it is under 250...perhaps even under 20! Imagine a finely crafted model that only has a few siblings-truly not what your neighbor has.
