Howard Stern's Beetlejuice Steps
Into the Spotlight |
By Tim Sullivan |
|
Sure
to be a hit with its core audience, Bob Wolf, CEO of Fighting Amish, believes
that the figure holds market appeal across the boards:
Toxic
Mom Studios included extra goodies that every toy enthusiast can appreciate.
Theres a utility belt with a bunch of great accessories, and
the look of the figure is extremely cool. We hope that people display
him at their places of work to freak out their coworkers.
According to Toxic Moms Lisa Cordero, Beetlejuice License plans
do not end with the action figure.
Beetlejuice
is such a fun character, we plan on creating a few things with his
license, a bobbinghead doll would be really fun
a chain purse
of his face would be hysterical, could you imagine opening his mouth
for the change to pop out?
The
Beet the Jolly Dwarf figure was painstakingly crafted, and with plans
for several 4 inch PVC figures of Beet in his various outfits already
in the works, Fighting Amish and Toxic Mom may have introduced a whole
new audience into the collectible action figure market.
Beet
the Jolly Dwarf is hitting stores this summer. Diamond Comic Distributors
is the primary distributor for the product, and has already received interest
from retailers such as Toysrus.com and Tower Records.
