What actually hit between Wednesday and Sunday. LEGO’s October wave is the bulk of the news, from an Insiders window on Oct. 1 to general sale on Oct. 4. Target also started a Hello Kitty Hatchimals exclusive on Oct. 1.
LEGO’s Executor is the longest Star Wars build yet
The U.S. LEGO Shop lists Executor Super Star Destroyer, set 75457, as available now at $799.99. It is an 18+ Ultimate Collector Series set with 6,130 pieces. LEGO says the ship measures over 53.5 inches (136 cm) long, 20 inches wide and 7.5 inches high, and calls it the longest LEGO Star Wars brick-built model yet. The build includes a stand, a to-scale Star Destroyer, and a small bridge where Darth Vader meets the bounty hunters.
Seven minifigures come in the box: Darth Vader plus Boba Fett, Dengar, Bossk, IG-88, 4-LOM and Zuckuss, which LEGO says is the first time all six Empire Strikes Back bounty hunters are in one set. Brick Sleuth, on Oct. 1, reported Insiders early access that day and general sale on Oct. 4, plus a Darth Vader’s Lightsaber gift-with-purchase, set 40897, offered with 75457 from Oct. 1 through Oct. 10 while stocks last.
LEGO PlayStation, set 72306, is listed available now at $179.99. The 1,911-piece set is for ages 18 and up and builds a near 1:1 original PlayStation console plus the first controller, which plugs into the front. LEGO says the Open and Power buttons work on the model. The console measures over 2.5 inches high, 10.5 inches wide and 7.5 inches deep. Two dioramas hide inside: Gran Turismo, from 1997, and Ape Escape, from 1999.
Brick Sleuth’s Oct. 1 roundup put this set on the same calendar as Executor: Insiders early access Oct. 1, general sale Oct. 4. That report also described gift-with-purchase 40899 Astro Bot, a 276-piece figure about 20 cm tall with swappable eye tiles, free at LEGO.com and LEGO Stores on orders over $150 from Oct. 1 through Oct. 7 while stocks last. The PlayStation set alone clears that threshold.
LEGO Ideas Downton Abbey, set 21373, is $349.99 and listed available now. It is 4,711 pieces, ages 18 and up, and LEGO credits a fan design that members voted through. The model is Highclere Castle, measured by LEGO at over 12 inches high, 17.5 inches wide and 6.5 inches deep. The top lifts off. Rooms called out on the product page are the main hall, dining room, library, kitchen, Mr. Carson’s office and the servants’ hall.
Thirteen minifigures cover Season 6: the Dowager Countess, Lord and Lady Grantham, Lady Mary, Lady Edith, Tom Branson, Mr. Carson, Mrs. Hughes, Mr. Bates, Thomas Barrow, Mrs. Patmore, Anna Bates and Daisy Parker. A cedar tree and bench finish the display. Brick Sleuth grouped it with the Oct. 1 Insiders window and Oct. 4 general sale, alongside Executor, PlayStation and the Holiday House.
LEGO Icons Holiday House, set 11387, is the 2026 Winter Village build: 1,354 pieces, ages 18 and up, $119.99. LEGO’s Sept. 15 release said Insiders could buy it from Oct. 1 and everyone else from Oct. 4, at LEGO.com and LEGO Stores. The house is over 8 inches high, 11 inches wide and 5.5 inches deep, with a wrap-around porch, garlands, a one-horse sleigh and a light brick in the tree and windows. Two instruction booklets split the sleigh from the house so a younger builder can join.
The same release put the rest of the seasonal wave on general sale Oct. 1. Buddy the Elf, set 40865, is 713 pieces, ages 12 and up, at $39.99. Up-Scaled Mrs. Claus, set 40875, is 904 pieces at $59.99, ages 10 and up. Santa’s Holiday Countdown (40874, 873 pieces, $59.99) and the Christmas Stocking (40958, 342 pieces, $34.99, with a Nutcracker minifigure) were dated for all buyers the same day.
License Global’s week-of-Oct. 2 licensing roundup, published Oct. 1, said Hello Kitty by Bloomables, a Hatchimals toy, was available exclusively at Target in the U.S. beginning Oct. 1, for children ages 5 and up. The play pattern in that report: water a flower to reveal Hello Kitty as a caterpillar, press her bow and nose to hear her giggle, sing and share a mood, then set her back in the base, water the petal and watch her become a butterfly.
Target’s own listing is up as Hatchimals Hello Kitty Bloomables and tags it Bullseye’s Top Toys 2026. The page carries a choking-hazard warning that the toy is not for children under 3, and it showed a 4.38-star rating from eight reviews. The listing did not show a price in the page source checked for this roundup.
