"Toys Across America" Donates to Kids in All 50 States

The Toy Bank's "Toys Across America" Gave A Half Million Toys to Kids in One Day


Toys help kids in so many ways - developmentally, socially, and emotionally. That's why TDmonthly Magazine was touched to read about The Toy Bank's recent Toys Across America giveaway.

Run by the Toy Industry Foundation, the Toy Bank distributes toys to needy kids across the country. During Toys Across America on August 1st, in honor of the Toy Bank's 10th anniversary, they donated more than a half million toys to kids in all 50 states.

Justina HuddlestonWriter's Bio: Justina Huddleston graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emerson College with a BA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing in 2009. After graduating she was the on-site director of the Boston Children's Museum gift store for a year, selling educational, developmental, and creative activity toys that tied in with the museum's exhibits. Justina also interned at children's book publisher Candlewick Press before moving from Boston to Los Angeles, where she is now Editorial Director of TDmonthly Magazine.
