Cast Your Vote for 2002 "People's Choice Toy of the Year"

New
York, NY…November 25, 2002… What toy will be the envy
of all its store shelf mates this holiday season? Kids and parents
throughout North America will decide from the fifty exciting and
entertaining toys vying for the coveted Toy Industry Association's
(TIA™) 2002 People's Choice Award (see nominees below). This
award allows consumers of all ages to vote for their favorite toy,
from an extensive selection of hot products including dolls, high
tech, learning and building toys, games, and more.
How to Vote and Win
Voting begins on Friday, November 29th and runs through Tuesday,
December 31st until 11:59 pm. Individuals can vote online at totyawards.org.
Those interested in receiving an official paper ballot should send
a self-addressed, stamped envelope, postmarked no later than December
9, 2002 to: Toy Industry Association, Inc., Attn: People's Choice,
1115 Broadway, New York, NY, 10010. The voting process is open to
all residents of North America.
All who cast a vote for the "People's Choice Toy Of The Year"
will be eligible to win one of the fun and fabulous nominated toys.
Twenty-five lucky winners will be randomly selected after final
voting closes on December 31st.
Announcement of "People's Choice Award"
The winner of the "People's Choice Award" will be announced
on February 15th, at an industry wide T.O.T.Y. Awards ceremony,
held at The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. Fourteen industry
awards in various categories will also be honored that evening.
