Disclosure: South Beach Bubbles did not pay for this article. We have not play-tested these products. Prices, contents and claims come from the maker’s own pages, checked Nov. 1, 2026, and from the award organizer’s announcement listed at the end.
South Beach Bubbles is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It makes bubble toys under several names: WOWmazing giant bubbles, PoppinColorz color bubbles, The Unspillables no-spill bubbles and Build-A-Bubble building kits. The company says its bubble solution is made in the USA and that its toys are made in the USA and in China.
Bubble toys usually sell in summer. South Beach Bubbles has two products aimed at the colder months, and an awards record that gives store buyers a reason to look.
A 2026 Outdoor Toy of the Year win
At the 2026 Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards, presented by The Toy Foundation, the PoppinColorz Galactic Color Bubble Machinewon Outdoor Toy of the Year. It’s a UFO-shaped bubble machine that spins, lights up and plays music while it puts out pink and blue color bubbles, and the maker says the bubbles don’t stain. It lists at $29.99.
FOR COLD DAYS
WOWmazing Winter Edition
$17.99 · Kit with 5 extra refills: $29.95
This giant-bubble kit comes with all-white two-handle wands, two pouches of bubble concentrate, a tips booklet and eight waterproof peel-and-stick stickers. Kids decorate the wands with the stickers, and the maker says the winter designs change when you take them outside at 50°F or below. Each pouch mixes with a quart of water. The larger kit adds five more pouches.
The maker’s FAQ says giant bubbles do best on humid, cloudy days with a light breeze, and dry air makes them pop faster. A cold, damp gray day can work better than a bright, dry one.
The maker calls the solution non-toxic and biodegradable. Those are the maker’s claims, and we haven’t tested them.
FOR INDOORS
Bubble Goalz
$14.99
This is a bubble game, not a bubble wand. Kids blow one strong bubble and try to keep it in the air with goalie gloves or their feet, counting bounces before it drops. In the box: a tray, a blower, 4 oz of “Game Grade” bubble solution, a pair of gloves and a pair of soccer socks. The maker pitches it for rainy days, playrooms and parties.
The product page doesn’t list an age grade. The maker’s FAQ says most of its toys are for ages 6 and up, some start at 3, and an adult should be nearby. Check the box.
For store buyers
South Beach Bubbles sells wholesale to retailers, schools and event planners. Its wholesale page and FAQ list the contact, and the phone line is (954) 418-2980, ext. 1. Two things to watch: the Galactic machine shows as sold out on the maker’s site as of Nov. 1, so ask about restock timing, and the Winter Edition and Bubble Goalz could keep a bubble display going after summer.
Recall check
We found no South Beach Bubbles, PoppinColorz or WOWmazing products in the CPSC recall database (saferproducts.gov), checked Nov. 1, 2026.
