TDmonthly Magazine's staff has had a tough couple of weeks, testing everything from one-eyed "gags" to ride-on toys, trying to whittle down our Top Toy award nominees to the finalists' list.
Many sore-throated arguments later, we've chosen those who will go on to compete for the Top Toy awards, announced in mid-October.
At the end of October, we will publish the 2007 TDmonthly Specialty Toys Report, which will include all of the nominees, finalists and winners. The report will be offered to the general public, retailers and the press to help consumers make informed buying decisions for the holidays and to introduce them to companies and products they will not find in mass-market outlets.
TDmonthly awards will include:
TDmonthly Top Toy 2007 (20 only)
TDmonthly Top Seller 2007 (20 or fewer)
TDmonthly Innovations 2007 (10 or fewer)
TDmonthly Classic (10 or fewer)
Winners will be able to publicize their awards with an official TDmonthly logo.
