This 40-minute album offers sophisticated music from the trio John Medeski, Billy Martin and Chris Wood, who employ an international array of instruments, and features children’s voices as well. It includes originals such as “Pirates Don’t Take Baths” and “The Train Song,” as well as rhyming tunes such as “Hickory Dickory Dock.” “This new CD presents jazz and a variety of musical styles and concepts in a fun, hip and easy-to-digest combination of original songs and tunes,” Beth Blenz-Clucas of Sugar Mountain PR told TDmonthly.
