The product allows a child to develop hand-eye coordination and tennis skills without a partner.  An 8’ to 9’ elastic cord is connected at one end to the string bed of a tennis racket (by means of a novel vibration dampener), and at the other end to a slow-bouncing tennis ball (by means of a plastic connection disc that is adhesively-connected to the outer surface of the ball).  The ball is preferably an 85 mm foam ball (for indoor use) or a 70 mm low compression tennis ball (for indoor or outdoor use). The product is also available with a racket. The actual product is sold using independently manufactured rackets and balls. Launch date: March 1, 2008.
