Turbospoke by Tomax (ToyShow) lets kids pretend their Schwinn is a Harley. By focusing sound through an amplifier resembling an exhaust pipe, Turbospoke allows bicycles to produce booming motorcycle sounds, which doubles as a safety device, alerting motorists and pedestrians. Each Turbospoke kit also contains a pack of three gameplay cards which will enable collectors to play a board game slated for an early 2004 release. Modification is done by stacking the cards into the acoustic clamp, thereby adjusting the sound. The product is made from a high-impact plastic that is very easy to assemble, with a retail price of $34.99. Owners will want to modify the cards to their own liking, experimenting with variable sounds.
