Paradise Galleries to Participate in 2012 Walk for Alzheimer's

Giving Back to a Great Cause and Playing Dolls

Laguna Hills, CA, August 31, 2012: California-based designer, developer, and marketer of award-winning dolls, Paradise Galleries, announced today they are beginning to gather a team of doll lovers to participate in the 2012 Walk for Alzheimer's in Dana Point, California on October 6, 2012 in support of a great cause. Along with gathering a team Paradise Galleries will also be giving generous donations from the company, their employees and customers.

According to Peggy Vicioso, VP Marketing & Product Development for Charisma Brands, the parent company of Paradise Galleries, "We have supported this cause for several years donating our Paradise Galleries baby dolls to the Alzheimer Association of Orange County, CA. The gift of a baby doll to an Alzheimer patient provides them joy and peace. We believe there is no better gift."

Paradise Galleries has been donating dolls to the Alzheimer's association for 5 years in hopes that these dolls will help the patients. Research has proved that baby dolls help in the memory of patients with Alzheimer's. It is said that baby dolls can perform "miracles" for Alzheimer's patients. For some of the patients these baby dolls can bring back nurturing memories of caring for a small baby while others simply find it comforting to care for another being. Baby dolls can help provide a bridge to the socialization and interaction that these patients are missing on a daily basis.

Paradise Galleries team staff and their Southern California Doll Friends are thrilled to have their first WALK team, All Dolled Up. The Company hopes by providing baby dolls to individual area patients and participating in the WALK will make a greater impact on the research that can be done to cure the disease.

Anyone interested joining the All Dolled Up team should go to our Paradise Galleries facebook page next week, there will be a link to sign up to walk and donate. Team participants will enjoy a great time with the Paradise Galleries team and receive an All Dolled Up t-shirt, lunch in Doheny Park after the walk, a free doll and a few fun take aways, there will also be prizes given for various contests presented throughout the day.

Paradise Galleries will promote the walk and gain additional sponsorships via a media push and social networking support from their customers. They hope to see a great turn out for the walk and for others to donate to this worthy cause to help find a cure.
