“Spider-Man 3,” “Shrek the Third” and, yes, “Pirates of the Caribbean” (Part 3) are predicted to be the monster hits of 200 … 7. So get the toys ready.

One odd summer pick that may beef up specialty sales is “Nancy Drew,” due out June 15 with the engaging Emma Roberts. This may be an under-the-radar success, strong enough to sell more books, which leads to more movies and other fashion/toy-related things that call to tween-and-under girls.
