Toilet Guru Goes Global

Ten days on a toilet with a bout of food poisoning transformed Joe Lalicata's life. The CEO of Jeckida Inc. used his time on the pot to imagine the toilet as a friendlier place for kids. Five years later, he's bringing his Toilet Buddies toilet-training system around the globe, documenting its growing success on videotape.

"We decorate toilets and make the world a better place. I believe it’s catching on and I believe it will be helpful," he told TDmonthly.

Judging by the awards and the amount of press he's getting for toilet characters such as Ca Ca Cow and Puddles Puppy, he seems to be right.
