Kuma (Japanese For Bear) is a bear figure created by Kuma Central’s toy designer Maria Sarmiento. Kuma is a mix of pop art, anime, toy design, music and manga culture. Kuma is a way of expression that explores the idea of urban art toys with an attitude. Kuma is radical yet simple, with an attitude yet with a heart and soul. Kuma figurines are in vinyl, 2.5" tall, and have articulated heads. The first series features 10 different characters, including Geek. Kuma Plush and one-of-a-kind hand-painted sculptures are also available, as are Kuma artwork, t-shirts, hats and accessories.
