This modern version of Colorforms features detailed fashion stickers for mix-and-match fun. Girls can peel the designs on and off, adding shoes, hair, bags and other accessories to the scenes shown in the included booklets. The collectible series of books and stickers are produced in limited quantities. “Our product is colorful, high quality, multi-cultural, imaginative and educational. [It’s] great for developing fine motor skills, imaginative play, sharing, collecting and learning,” Founder Anne Kim of AK Toy Company told TDmonthly. “Simplymini … is not available in large retail stores and [is] currently sold in over 25 specialty stores in the Northeast and Midwest.”

What Is It?
These press-and-peel vinyl animé-styled stickers let little girls try out fashion and hairstyles in a big (mini) way. The reusable teeny-tiny clothing and shoes are dusted with glitter for extra pizzazz. The mini characters range from babies to big girls, and some even have their own pets. A charm, complete with an assortment of puffy stickers to decorate it, is also included. This collectible series of fashion books and stickers is produced in limited quantities.

What We Thought
Simplymini is a simple way to keep mini girls entertained for hours. Whether playing alone in the car or with friends during recess, kids will have fun swapping out hairstyles, skirts, shirts, dresses and boots just by peeling and sticking. The styles are fun, colorful and fancy enough for the pickiest fashionista.

Why They’ll Want It
This reviewer played with an included sample and had no good reason for opening and playing with the full-sized product, but nevertheless found it irresistible. Simplymini would make a great birthday gift, travel gift, get-well soon gift, stock stuffer, etc., etc. for just about any little (or big) girl who likes pretty clothes and lots of choices. — Alison Marek 2/4/08
