MONOPOLY: Baseball Collector's Edition |
Move over video
games, there's a new way to play sports indoors that doesn't involve
TV hypnosis or breaking mom's furniture.
Created by USAopoly, a visionary in combining board game
concepts with the clout of licensed products, MONOPOLY: Baseball
Collector's Edition, unites the action of the playing field
with the familiar icons of Monopoly.
"The new Major League Baseball Monopoly will have all 30 Major League
team logos, customized 'Community Chest' cards, and tokens that
are baseball-themed," said Dane Chapin, CEO of USAopoly.
"The baseball theme really comes through in the artwork of the game,"
says Chapin. "If in traditional Monopoly you pull a card that says
' Pay poor tax of $15,' the card for the baseball version would
say, 'Strike out, pay $15.'"
Designed for ages 6 and up, Baseball Monopoly is available now and
aims to satisfy both sports fans and Monopoly buffs. USAopoly has
even designed Mr. Monopoly his very own Major League Baseball
outfit.
Soon to hit the track from USAopoly: Nascar Checkers, with
actual miniature tires as checkerboard pieces.
