Gustafer Yellowgold’s Infinity Sock is the first Gustafer Yellowgold DVD/CD package to have a storyline, unfolding in graphic novel fashion and weaving together ten thought provoking, melodic soft-rock music videos in the inimitable Gustafer Yellowgold style, ranging from sublime alt-pop to gentle acoustic. Gustafer Yellowgold's Mellow Fever is the third in the award-winning series of DVD/CD sets released by Apple-Eye Productions.  Each song is accompanied by a series of hand-drawn, minimally animated illustrations set to melodic and catchy tunes ranging from mellow acoustic to crackling-pop.  Mellow Fever features guest-star performances by WILCO’s John Stirratt and Pat Sansone, as well as Lisa Loeb. This nine-track CD/DVD combo continues the story of Gustafer Yellowgold’s life on earth, which was introduced in the album “Wide Wide World.” The collection of pop, soft rock, lullaby tunes and more includes songs “The Mustard Slugs” and “Beard for All Seasons,” complemented on the DVD by minimal illustrations.

This animated music DVD and CD package features story-songs by Morgan Taylor and will entrance children and adults alike. Gustafer, a friendly creature who came to Earth from the Sun, has an interesting magnetism for making friends with interesting creatures, including Forrest Applecrumbie the flightless pterodactyl, his pet eel, Slim (short for Slimothy), and his pet dragon, Asparagus. Gustafer's older brother Ben, an inventor, lives on Nugget Island, a few miles away from Gustafer’s Minnesota cottage. Launch date: March 27, 2007.
