What's
New at TOY FAIR?
February 1, 2003
Additional
new services at TOY FAIR include:
SPEAKER
CONSULTATIONS: Conference program attendees can meet with
our expert seminar speakers for a complimentary 10-minute consultation.
Speaker Consultations take place on Monday and Tuesday afternoons.
BROADCAST
PLATFORM: For the first time, TIA has designated space
on the show floor for broadcast crews, as well as the official TOY
FAIR Satellite Media Tour, to assist the media in the preparation
of product segments. Media crews will now have an up-close and vital
backdrop for their shots, as well as easy access to exhibitors.
The area will be staffed by security and show personnel throughout
the show and is located in the southwest corner of Hall E on Level
3 (nearest to 34th Street & 12th Avenue).
JAVITS PRESS CENTER: We’ve given the media
easier access to press materials and industry resources in 2003,
including new press kit display cases, additional signage for companies
participating in the Virtual Press Office, and a computer station
with T-1 connection to access additional information online. Now
both the Toy District and Javits Press Centers are equipped to service
and support media with high quality facilities and personnel.
LOBBY
ENTERTAINMENT: Let us entertain you…TIA offers some
nifty diversions during your afternoon departure. You may notice
various artists on the concourse level, from “Performing In
Public Spaces, Inc.” – a NYC company that promotes local
area street performers. The job of these performers is to keep you
entertained and, hopefully, make your wait for a shuttle bus a little
more bearable.
We
hope that you enjoy the many new features at TOY FAIR 2003!
