Relativity Halts Stretch Armstrong Production

Relativity Media has announced that the Stretch Armstrong movie, slated to come out April 11, 2014, is no longer moving forward with production, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie was first conceptualized as part of a Hasbro-Universal deal made in 2008. It was later sold to Relativity, and now, after hitting a "major roadblock," the project has been shelved.

Other than Battleship, all of the movies planned with Universal had their production halted, and Universal paid Hasbro a multi-million dollar fee to get out of their partnership.
