Video Report From the WTHRA ShowEndless Dollhouses, Cute Pigs and Flat Construction Were Highlights
Once again, TDmonthly Magazine sent its video crew to the WTHRA show — the west coast's favorite toy-trade event. For the second year in a row, the show took place in Long Beach, Calif. Retailer attendance was low, frustrating and disappointing exhibitors, some of whom speculated that store-owners had vetoed attendance in favor of ASTRA's Marketplace, which will take place in June in nearby Anaheim.
However, retailers who made the decision to forego WTHRA missed some fun new products. Not to worry, though, TDmonthly brought back videos of the most interesting new toys and games, for your viewing pleasure. These are the only publicly available videos from WTHRA online as of March 25, 2011. Videos are in the process of being uploaded, so please check back every few days!
