TOY-STORE OWNERS CAUGHT ON TAPE

Want to know what other specialty retailers look like? And sound like? And what they want in their stores for 2007?

Watch videos of your peers taken by TDmonthly Magazine at this year’s trade events!

And after you’ve learned what their favorite toys are (Hints: LittleMissMatched and the Little Little Little Toy Company), feel free to leave your own picks at the bottom of the page … or go to our Forums to share more information.

TRADE SHOW MADNESS

TDmonthly Magazine hit two more trade shows last month and came back with plenty of video and editorial coverage.

You can watch baby frogs jump off their lily pads in Blue Orange’s new Froggy Boogie, get fired up by Magnum Enterprises’ best-selling Magnum 45 wooden rubberband gun and watch an Automoblox Mini car smash-up with the Pomona Videos from the WTHRA California show.

Then “switch channels” to the Las Vegas Games Expo Videos and see champs trounce contenders with Boxing Enterprises’ educational board game Boxing Game, as Mindtwister’s Pentago gets twisted.

SUDOKU A NO-GO?

For the first time since the Sudoku craze began, TDmonthly Magazine has heard the puzzle’s lost its sizzle. Though most retailers report it’s still going strong, a few have noticed a drop off. Find out which puzzles are still being solved, by reading Sudoku Takes a Slide.

SHOVE OUTDOOR TOYS OUT THE DOOR

A short selling season for outdoor toys in most areas of the country demands that retailers become innovative when pushing these items. From invading block parties to blasting TVs in the store, find out who’s doing what by reading How to Move Outdoor Toys Out.

PRESCHOOLERS GET THEIR PUZZLE ON

Does a World Bank advisor prefer caterpillars or mermaids? Find out how many stars a bunch of smart moms and their smart kids gave to puzzles from Safari, University Games and General Games by reading one of this month's roundtables, Preschoolers: Unpuzzling the Puzzles.

EVEN MORE NEW TOYS

If that's not enough toys for you, search for new products that have come into ToyDirectory/TDmonthly during the past three months in our Notable and New Toys article. Or, to see everything, do an ADVANCED SEARCH (top of the page) and select "All" for your Category.
