FAMILY PASTIMES games are the inventions of Jim Deacove. Jim started making
co-operative games for his own family and was encouraged by friends to make
more. Sharing toys, helping mom and dad, being kind to others are values taught
in all homes. To find games which help to reinforce such sharing attitudes,
however; is very difficult. Thus, Jim and Ruth felt they had to create some.
The "hobby" became a small business in their home 35 years ago (1971). The games
are made in small quantities as a labor of love. Our games are all about building
a kinder, gentler society. We want to send our special niche customers to you,
customers who do not usually play games and are looking for our titles. Stock
up with a variety of our titles for all ages and situations, so when they come
to your store asking, you will have plenty of choice on hand.
We have the largest selection of cooperative games in the world. Our entire
catalogue is online at www.familypastimes.com for your kind consideration. You
will find us very retailer friendly, with reasonable prices, free shipping deals,
mixed carton options, free signs, catalogues, posters, articles, a listing of
your store and much more. After viewing our information site, contact us for current price lists and
shipping details appropriate to your location. We ship everywhere in the
world. Please mention ToyDirectory when ordering. A message from Jim Deacove, President of Family Pastimes:
I don't want to raise my prices. I recognize that I am not offering food, clothing or shelter, although I do believe that my games are special and needed today more than ever. People think I am kidding when I state that I want to help in my little way to create and kinder, more caring society.
Anyway, reviewing the entire operational expenses, instead of raising prices and shipping rates to cover the increases in those expenses, I have decided to cut an expense elsewhere in order to KEEP THE CURRENT PRICES AND FREE SHIPPING OPTION IN PLACE! The expense I am cutting is my own salary each month to the end of this year and then I will reassess matters then. I will tap into my savings to keep current price levels, because I believe it is important to put the games in the hands of as many people as possible and not let the games become a high priced item that few can afford.
LET ME KNOW IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE LAST PRICE LIST SENT OUT AND I WILL EMAIL YOU A COPY ASAP.
All the best, Jim
